I very much did not enjoy this book. Too rushed too many unnecessary paragraph dumps of unexplained word salad. The character potential to be something cute if the story had taken time to focus and flesh them out more. I usually enjoy established relationships but this just didn’t hit the way I thought it would.

I loved it! Very cozy story about two friends who find their way to each other.
The writing was great and I will definitely read more from this author. I liked their banter and dynamics and I love how vulnerable they have been, with each other and in private. poor Abbie was struggling!
I've read a few books by this author at this point and I have enjoyed all of them to different extents. I did enjoy this one but I had some issues with it as well.
This is a best friends to lovers romance and I loved that about it. Both characters have anxiety that manifests itself it totally different ways and they both have their own share of baggage (I hate calling it that). This is a short quick read and I felt like that actually worked really well. I didn't think I was missing anything but at the same time it would have also been nice to get a little more time with both characters.
My biggest complaint is about the lack of communication. At first it seemed like they were going to do the mature thing and actually talk to each other but at the last minute they pulled out which lead to so unnecessary heartache for a few pages. Overall this was a cute read and I'm glad I read it.
I really enjoyed this book. It was my first audiobook that I didn't read along with it and it went so well. They are seriously such an adorable couple. Abby was so awkward and adorable, then there was Will.. somewhat cocky (not in a bad way) and a total softie for Abby. This was also my first book that I've read by Talia Hibbert so I'm very excited to read more soon!
This was my first time reading a book by Talia Hibbert and I had a hard time adapting to her style. The characters are stuck in their internal monologue it feels like 75% of the time. Not much...happens. They think stuff. They feel stuff. They think a lot of stuff and feel a lot of stuff between sparse lines of dialogue and I couldn't keep track of what they were actually saying to one another. There were some funny lines, but her humour didn't really resonate with me. Peppering thoughts with swear words doesn't really make things funny like a witty incisive comment does in my books. I know a lot of people love her stuff, but I felt this one really fell flat. I wanted to read a Talia Hibbert book because I'd heard good things about her inter-racial relationships as well as writing about ‘normal' body types instead of the genre romance archetypes. The cover promised this but very little detail was given about this aspect of their attraction to one another. I supposed that is one way to write about it, that it's a non-issue, but I was kinda disappointed.
Very quick read. Super sweet and on trend for the festive season. Shout out the Gravy the cat, as well.
Talia Hibbert is one of the few romance authors who consistently gets me to laugh out loud.
This was the perfect Christmas novella. I'll probably be rereading it in the near future.
Guys, Talia Hibbert can do no wrong. This novella is so cute and perfect to read for the holidays. The banter between her characters in every book she writes is some of the funniest content I've ever read. I was cackling out loud alone in my apartment. She has the perfect way of portraying anxiety in her characters, while making it relatable and funny. I found myself saying “omg, I literally think this all the time” multiple times while reading. The romance is steamy and cute, and I cannot wait for her to release more books. She has become one of my top favorite romance authors.
