Wizard's Masquerade

It's flawed, but this book helped to get out of my year-long reading slump. It was just what I needed, a romance with magic element  and a MMC that is not insulting the FMC at every chance he gets. 

Most plot twist were predictable, I remember thinking of them as jokes and then they turned out to be true. I thin  that is why even if the book has death and violence themes, it felt like a comfort read. Still, the jester is particularly likeable as he is the only reason I finished the book.
