I'm saddened that I have to end my Witchlands journey here. This book didn't have the same feel and flow of the earlier books in the series. I felt no desire or care to pick this book up and finish it. DNF'ed after 100 pages and now it is time to move on.
Holy sh*t.
This fourth installment gave me a headache at first. Don't get me wrong, it isn't because this installment worse than its predecessor, but the arrangement of the plot. But when I catch up, oh my, Dennard had upped her game.
Need to remind you this series is good, the world building, the action, the adventure, the pace and an addition for all of that, the plot twist & the things that the writer was kept from reader from book 1, finally, finally all fall into place (you know, that moment when all clicks & you'd say “oh, ternyata begini...”).
Hardly see this series mentioned by any bookstagram, but I'm glad I pick up this unpopular series. Too bad that the sequel, the last installment can't come soon enough. 2023. Still a long way to go, what would I do now, though??
Iseult's book. Izzy. One of my favorite characters..of course Aeduan too but this isn't about him LoL. Seeing her growth in this installment was amazing. Heart wrenching but amazing. She doubts herself so much....her self worth, her witchery, who she is, what she is...and finally seeing her step into herself was beautiful.
With that being said Susan Dennard play too much!! ( Respectfully
There's a lot I forgot from previous book but I don't mind. It gives me a chance to reread the series
I loved this book. There was never a dull moment. As always, the characters are fantastic. Iseult is my fave, so I was ready for her book.
