Winter's Bone

This book was pretty ‘meh' for me. Kinda a 2 star book, but I do see the good qualities.

Not the usual type of book I read, but it was recommended that I read it. I really liked Ree's character as well as her brothers. I didn't understand how most the men were ‘scary' or scumbags– literally no one can keep it in their pants. Many parts were very real-life seeming which was interesting to read. Seeing things from another light.

It was an interesting story though.

I would probably recommend this book to other people just to talk about it with them.It was also pretty short so, easy to read quickly. A good book report book for a teen.
