At the Foot of the Stairs: In an outstanding, atmospheric tale, the spirit of a deity comes to avenge a theft. It reminded me of the finest Victorian writers of the genre. Exquisite!
The House at the Top of the Cliff: This story is rather surprising in the sense that it lacks ghosts. What it contains, however, is much more frightening. It gave me heart palpitations and scared me to death!

I was delighted to find out that a second volume of ghost stories by Lesley Anne Wright will soon be upon us. Keep them coming! Definitely a new writer to watch.
