What Happened to the Bennetts

What happened to the Bennetts? Pretty much everything, and it was all bad, really bad. There is happiness though, at the end a lost dog and returned to it's owners by a network of mean looking truckers with hearts of gold, and I was glad about that.

Completely nuts, but as always, deliciously moreish.

2.5 rounded up for readability. I just don't like the way mysteries resolve in this authors work so even though she's a good writer I don't think this author is for me

Finally got it back from the library so that I could finish it, but decided it wasn't worth my time. The plot line was bouncing all over the place and it wasn't keeping my attention enough to continue. It had good reviews, so let me know if you liked it.

Even though it started with a horrible event, which almost made me give up, and the main character's voice is sometimes a tad juvenile, it's action packed till the very end and it's kept me on.

Just a really depressing and slow story.
