Простая книжка с забавными историями из книжных магазинов. Читается легко, но не все диалоги такие уж забавные, как можно ожидать. Также в книгу добавили "подслушано" из российских книжных магазинов и если сначала я сомневался в этой идее, то по прочтению понял, что она была хорошей — там много смешного.
Иллюстрации формально разбавляют груду текста, но в целом погоду не делают. На мой взгляд лучше было бы изобразить сценки прямо как в книжных магазинах, чтобы показать их настоящие и подтолкнуть читателя ближе к происходившему.
Дома можно не держать. Прочитали — подарите другому.
This book just reaffirms my belief that humans are weirdly silly and I could never work in customer service because the likelihood of being fired for laughing appropriately at something inappropriate would be extremely high.
This was a funny and quick read.
If you're in need of a giggle then this is the book for you. There are some hilarious gems to be found here. I loved it. I'm still laughing as I write this.

I've worked for five years as a shop assistant and I swear on God people are really THAT dumb, like I was going crazy FR.
This was a quite funny book tho, but I didn't have the time of my life reading it, so 3 stars are enough u.u
An excellent, outrageously little treasure of a book. It makes you feel justified to have lost every scrap of faith in humanity...

Seré tan simple, que me reí mucho con éste. Me imagino al pobre hombre.
Me gustaron las anécdotas de confusiones con libros, y cosas que solo sucederían en librerías. Hay cosas que se aplican a otros comercios, oficinas o lo que sea, donde llegue alguien con una pregunta rara, por no decirlo de otra manera.
Algo de experiencia propia:
Trabajo en un despacho de arquitectos en el centro de gobierno, donde hay muchas notarias.
VISITANTE: Busco al licenciado (inserte nombre)
ARQUITECTOS: Aquí no es notaría.

VISITANTE: Traigo estos papeles, es que me estoy divorciando de mi esposa (platica todos sus problemas maritales)
ARQUITECTOS: Aquí no es notaría.

ARQUITECTOS (YO): No, es enseguida.
VISITANTE: Pero esta cerrado.
ARQUITECTOS (YO): Si...
VISITANTE: ¿Sabe a que horas cierran?
ARQUITECTOS (YO): NO
VISITANTE: ¿Cómo que no sabes?!!!
ARQUITECTOS (YO): Pues yo no trabajo ahí.

Después de cansarnos de tener gente preguntando como 6 veces al día, se puso el letrero.

VISITANTE: Traigo estos papeles. ¿No los podría dejar aquí?
ARQUITECTOS (YO): Pero aquí no es la notaría.
VISITANTE: Si, ¿pero no los puedo dejar? ¿No esta comunicado el edificio con el de enseguida y se los podrían pasar por abajo ustedes?
ARQUITECTOS (YO): ¿what?!
Al parecer hay personas raras en todos lados. Aunque a veces si es preocupante. Tiene algunas buenas anécdotas. Me pase un buen rato, riendo un poco.
A fun book but you do wish there was a bit more to read! It did however bring back a rush of memories of my many years working in a bookshop.
It was a quick, enjoyable read. Most of the bloopers were quite funny. Even when they say the most ridiculous things, the Brits are just fascinating. However, I do have some doubts that some of dialogue actually happened, it seemed too far-fetched at times. Nevertheless, fun read.
Hilarious! This is well-suited to librarians and literature buffs, so of course I found myself laughing out loud. People are very strange!
