We Own Tonight

DNF 45 minutes in.

Man the cringe factor here almost had me keep going hahaha. I totally understand how it is to fangirl over boy bands. I get it. It was part of the draw to this book. Listening to it was a little difficult and the second hand embarrassment, but it had me laughing, so I would have kept going if that was it.

The thing is, things were starting not to make sense. She spent forever in the bathroom only to have no makeup on and her hair in a ponytail? She regrets saying she'd go and really doesn't want to, then says she's never missed a date out with her besties and never plans on it??? Soooo she would have gone anyhow. And why is it strange for him to wink or look at her from stage when she is practically in the front row and it is his job to try making eye contact with all the women he can. She even mentions later how he makes eye contact with others!
Then we get to Eli's POV and I realized I was disliking both the characters, so I had to put it down. Such a bummer.
