Wandering Son

The art is simple. We'll see how the story is handled. Essentially, it's about a male-bodied fifth grader who is realizing they want to be a girl, and they're friend, a female-bodied child who wants to be a boy. The latter child takes their brother junior high uniform and travels to another area to see how they feel about being a boy. The story has potential, but it flows badly. If one isn't familiar with the manga format, it might be difficult to follow.

Very cute. At times I had to roll my eyes at the little stories he made up or the love triangle-y stuff, but then I stopped myself and reflected back onto my time in elementary school...similar things happened. I very much look forward to the next volume, and hopefully the return of Yuki-san :)

So sad! Everyone's fighting and no one wants to make up! Shu & Yoshi are trying to be what they think they're supposed to be and neither of them are happy. Gah!
