This was not for me. Couldn't finish it. I understand what this book is and I liked some scenes in it, probably the ones that the book was written for, but the rest of it didn't grip my attention. The plot isn't bad, it's simple enough to follow, with enough detail, there is some buildup and tension but some characters' behavior was a touch too erratic and illogical for my liking.
This book was really fun to read and I didn't expect it to also be really funny. I was smitten with how protective Ren is over Amelia. It was a great time. Be warned no plot and it just focuses on their relationship. Either way, it's a nice ride.
Viciously Yours is basically fantasy porn with a sprinkle of plot and very mid writing. If you're looking for a quick read to get you out of a book slump—and probably get you off—this one's for you. The story itself isn't groundbreaking, but it's fast-paced enough to keep you turning pages, and let's be honest, the main appeal here is the steamy scenes.
The spice is plentiful, but like the writing, it's pretty mid. What really gets you going isn't the quality of the scenes but the sheer quantity. While the plot is mild and the character development thin, it's a guilty pleasure that doesn't pretend to be more than it is. It's not a book you'll rave about, but if you're in the mood for something hot and easy to devour, Viciously Yours delivers on that front. Just don't expect much beyond the endless spice.
When you need a little pick me up, pick this book up!
This was actually so cute. In the disclaimer, Jamie says there is no plot and then comes up with a super interesting magic system and kingdom like it's nothing. The last couple chapters I was eating up the lore, please I'm begging I need a book per couple please.
These are the perfect book to get you out of a slump, or if you need a book that will make you want a cigarette after. I absolutely loved it and am eagerly awaiting more.

This was fun. The secret is go into it with no expectations and understand the author's note at the beginning.
I appreciate that this book didn't try to be anything other than entertaining and easy to read.
This was so over the top, but I had such a fun time reading it. So possessive and protective, but 100% devoted. No real plot, just sweet, fun vibes and a few bloody moments. I am most definitely going to read the next ones although I wish we were getting Amos or Dean's stories next. It is kinda weird knowing exactly who the three other Kings will mate– no mystery there– still it kinda allows us to prepare and find their names in the books before theirs, I guess.
Highly recommend if you want light fantasy with lots of romance, silly moments, and possessive dudes with little to no moral line when it comes to their mates. Kinda gave Suzanne Wright vibes.
This was exactly what I wanted. And I appreciated the author's description that this is just for a jolly good time, no plot, all romance. Quick fae “you're mine, I'm yours, literally crazy about you” easy breezy read.
