this book was fucking crazy, I can't put it any other way. It's mafia, arrangedish (more like marry me or die) marriage with triggers galore. please for the love of god, go in so blind. the twist and turns of this book is what made it sooo good. I loved Unas character, she had strength galore and did not sit down for nothing. If you want a bad ass FMC that does what she needs to, this is your book. Cillian is a psychopathic crazy ass man but he becomes a sweetheart for Una. Cillian is the definition of morally grey to the furthest extent. To be honest I'm a idiot and didn't notice this was the second in the serious and I can't lie a few points I was like “THIS IS SO MUCH INFO” that I feel you should read the first book.

Vicious Hearts is a wonderful continuation of the Dark Hearts Series by Jagger Cole. I really enjoy the Kildare and Drakos families, and I hope Hades is the MMC of Book 3.

Cillian Kildare is the vicious head of his Irish Mafia family. He is mercilessly brutal, and some may call him a psychopath due to his lack of morality and seemingly unaffected actions. That is until meeting Una. Una O' Conor is sent to seduce and assassinate Cillian for killing her monster of a father. But in doing so, she may discover the heart lurking beneath his vicious reputation.

Their connection is melded by their dark and  traumatic past. While their physical relationship is heated by their mutually dark romantic preferences, forced proximity deepens their connection as they share more of themselves.

The audiobook, narrated by Ryan West and Sophie Daniels, was enjoyable. Their performance met my expectations and had me immersed in the story.
