Vampires and Villains

I finished this book in a day! 
Join Paige and her Aunt Glo as they gather their book club for an adventure inside a mystery novel. Once inside the story, the members become characters on a cruise ship. They meet vampires, enjoy everything the cruise has to offer and make it their mission to find a killer. 
This is the second book I've read from this author and I know her books will be fun and full of adventure. This was an enjoyable read for the rainy day we had. I loved that the characters not only went inside the book, but became part of the story interacting with characters and enjoying themselves like it was real life. The author writes it in a way you forget they are in a story and it isn't real life. The diverse cast of characters are fun together. 
This is a wonderful read for mystery lovers! Perfect for October and fall. 
This is the second book in the series. I have not read the first, but I don't feel like I missed anything.
