Two men and a maiden

Laura takes a job as maid in a London Jewish household to help support her family, where she befriends the daughter of the house and catches the eyes of both sons. She returns to the Forest of Dean after a tragedy and marries, is widowed unexpectedly, and receives a surprise visitor.
