Twelve Days

I'll admit it, I only made it part way through this story (on Audio). It definitely wasn't the narrator's fault. I just could not get into this story. It was boring, and boring, and yawn boring. What the heck do I care about someone being served oatmeal, and how it looked and what they thought about it? And someone is going to die of lung cancer and we get to find out his favorite things are R.C. cars? The story just never took a direction. I personally hate (yes, HATE) not finishing a book. I rarely give up, but I just couldn't go on. Funny thing is this story (at first) seemed very similar to the one I had just finished. But then again, that was only my imagination.
