Turtles in the Road

I'm going to start this by saying that if you ever ask me for a Christian romance recommendation, this book will be blurted out of my mouth before you finish your sentence!

Oh my goodness! Turtles in the Road is flawlessly funny, sweet, uplifting, and just all around perfect! It captures the messiness of everyday life and blends it together with God's all-perfect plans in a way that actually encourages us in our own faith.

I loved every single quirky character. Every single scene. Every struggle. Every triumph. Everything about this book is just so well done. It's definitely made my favorite list.

What makes me love it even more, is the fact that there was no unnecessary drama. So many Christian romances feel the need to include hugely dramatic love triangles, situations that could have easily been avoided, etc. But Turtles in the Road is a much more realistic, and light-hearted, approach to the average Christian's lifestyle. Sure there are messy situations and struggles, but Piper and Jay both lived a genuine, faith filled lifestyle, which made their happily-ever-after that much better.

I easily give Turtles in the Road 5 out of 5 stars and encourage you to get a copy for yourself (especially if you're looking for a novel to include in your beach-basket 😉 !
