A Little Morbid, Very Repetitive, But Entertaining for Kids

Fair warning: this book likely won't go over well with a kid who isn't familiar with farming lifestyles or overly comfortable with the fact cute animals are eaten as meat.

That said, for those who AREN'T going to be scared (or scarred) by that, I do think this is a cute enough book with a pleasant surprise ending. The art is okay, but not great. And the storyline itself is incredibly repetitive in a way which gets annoying fast. By my understanding, that's actually something children enjoy, but it may be frustrating for adults who are reading to their kids.
