Pretty good, perhaps even better than [b:Jääkaksoset 30464295 Jääkaksoset S.K. Tremayne https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1465540093s/30464295.jpg 42439923]. There are similarities, but this one is perhaps easier to suspend the disbelief. Well, this one's not the most plausible thriller, either, but the atmosphere is pleasantly spooky and the Cornish mine setting is quite a nice idea, so I'm willing to forgive quite a bit.I enjoyed how everything seems to break down in the end, and then ending was quite good too. I'd say Tremayne has avoided the “difficult second book” syndrome, but since it's a pseudonym, he's actually quite the experienced writer already – and it sure shows.
