I'm still not that impressed with Zachary Quinto's narration, but I did enjoy the story. I expect it's going to seem very dated eventually though with all of its Covid references. Glad I finished out the series at least.
Fantastic read like the previous ones. The plot was maybe a bit of a stretch, but I really liked how the big tech was tied in. I have some issues with how the Irish mobs are working as a sort of deux ex machina magically fixing the situations. Maybe there is an idea for later about them though.
These Dispatcher novellas have been a really fun little listen. I hope a 4th is coming. It is a cool little world.
3.5 stars. It was a fine entry in the series, but nothing special.
The narration was good, although he just reads everything in his normal speaking voice.
Travel by Bullet is another excellent installment in John Scalzi's Dispatcher series. This one is set during the pandemic and features a plot entangled with cryptocurrency. I found it an interesting sci-fi thriller and enjoyed listening to Quinto's wonderful performance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Whoah, fun mystery. Well written and performed. Did I mention the day I read this book was the real crypto currencies had, um issues? So very topical to its moment.
A nice respite from reading 600+ pages fantasy books ))) Made even better by Quinto's performance.
A quick, fun read listen.
The promo text gives a good introduction to the story. Read that first if you are unsure.
But, do start with the first Dispatcher story. They are all good.
As one would expect, Zachary Quinto provides an excellent narration.
