I think I need to accept that I am not a spicy romance girly (at least not at this level). I really tried to finish this but I was disappointed with the house flipping plot line and the fact that it took such a backseat to make way for all the smut
I did not enjoy this series and I'm glad Tessa Bailey evolved in her writing. The characters were mostly annoying, and the men were too domineering. I didn't care for the family drama, the romances, neither for the female empowering club.
However, Wes was quite nice and his behaviour, as well as his relationship with his niece Laura, make this book the best of the series.
I wasn't a huge fan of the characters at the beginning but I can appreciate their growth.
Another solid romance from Tessa Bailey!
Great instalment in the series! Loved Bethany and Wes's relationship and the house flipping storyline too.
This was a fun and sexy HGTV style of a romance. This was definitely an adorable ending to this series!
There's nothing like a sibling rivalry to bring a family together. At least you'd think so when it comes to the Castles. While at sister Georgie's wedding an eavesdropping producer hears Bethany and brother Stephen going at it. Bethany ever afraid of not being enough for anyone has decided she wants to prove her stuff to brother Stephen by doing her own renovation. What befalls is a charming romance when Wes; a rodeo cowboy from Texas, Zellweger's his way into Bethany's project and ultimately her heart. Tessa Bailey's Tools of Engagement is the hot caramel sauce on the top of this Hot and Hammered contemporary romance sundae.
