To Find Him and Love Him Again, Volume 1

I love Harper Fox but I did not enjoy this book at all. There were many references to events from the previous 9 books that I barely remember, so I felt confused half of the time. The other half was just pure dread, as it was obvious that something terrible was going to happen. I knew there would be a cliffhanger ending but I didn't realize there were almost no minutes of ““rightness” in more than 200 pages. Might be ok for some people, but I've been so traumatized by the events of the past 5 years that I could barely bring myself to keep turning the pages. I guess I have to read the rest of the trilogy but I'm not looking forward to it.
