In Time - I didn't think I would end up liking a novella that was from the POV of a skip tracer but I ended up enjoying it. While I was reading it I thought I knew what it was going to be and sure enough I was right. This novella touches on something that was briefly mentioned in either book 2 or book 3. Sorry I can't remember exactly which one it was. It was nice having it elaborated on. I didn't much like the main character Gabe at first but he kind of grew on me by the end. This also has one of the original main characters in it which I loved. (4.5 stars)
Sparks Rise - This novella is about a minor side character in the main book as well as a new character. Something happens in the main book and this novella is about what happened afterward. After reading the fourth book in the series I went into this bind up with little expectations but so far I am loving it. The first novella was kind of heartbreaking but I really felt more for the characters in this one that it hit me harder. I was literally on the verge of tears. This book gives us an insight into the brutality that went on at Thumond. It didn't go into a whole lot of detail but it was still hard to read and it gives you just enough to really feel for the characters. All in all I really enjoyed this novella and it's my favorite so far. (5 stars)
Beyond the Night - In the final novella we see the return of almost all of the original characters. I have loved these characters since the beginning and it was so nice to have them back. This one is told from the point of view of Sam who was in the previous novella as well as Mia who is actually Lucas's sister. At first I wasn't a fan of Mia because of how she treated Sam at first but that was quickly resolved and she grew on me. She actually reminded me a lot of Vida who was another character I wasn't a fan of at first but ended up loving her in the end. My only issue with this one is that the chapters are super long and if you know me then you know I prefer shorter chapters. (4.5 stars)
