Account of the journey of three inexperienced adventurers who travelled the Amazon from its source in the Andes, to its mouth in the Atlantic ocean - a distance of over 7000 kilometres. Recounts how these young men, with only minimal equipment and a few afternoons training in white water rafting, survived some of the most dangerous rafting conditions, wild storms, tropical diseases and venomous insects and reptiles.
