[3.3] i feel bad not rounding up, because we definitely need more stories like this featuring trans characters, especially trans children, and supportive parents/families, but the last section really threw me off. i wished the author continued to build upon the theme of family with the existing cast versus the mom and Claude escaping to Thailand, away from everyone else, and forcing upon them revelations through random characters.

go in fully expecting a fairytale-like lens applied to the story, and i think the story's construction will work better for you :)
