The Weight Loss Cure

Another of the books my mom was manipulated by advertisements into buying. I was a teen back then. A fat teen who desperately wanted to know the cure to being overweight. I read this book, nearly bought into the conspiracies... only to get so furious when the “cure” was an illegal hormone injection that I threw the book away. My mom was okay with that, after I explained what a scam the book had been.
