But compared to what's left outside, perhaps Cloud isn't so bad. Better still, through his work he meets Zinnia, who fills him with hope for their shared future.Except that Zinnia is not what she seems. And Paxton, with his all-access security credentials, might just be her meal ticket. As Paxton and Zinnia's agendas place them on a collision course, they're about to learn just how far the Cloud will go to make the world a better place.

I found this book very similar to The Circle by Dave Eggers in a good way. Solid 4 stars
It's not a super subtle book, but I guess we don't live in a subtle world anymore – I bought this book on amazon, read it on a kindle, and am writing the review on an amazon owned website, hosted on amazon servers.
I enjoyed the warnings of late stage capitalism drawn to its extreme here. I do wish there was a bit more world building around that. Even at 350 pages it felt a bit short. I can see why it was picked up for a film so quick though – it is gonna be a great movie; the book has 3 rather distinct acts, all of which will be very photogenic.
I sensed a bit of Jude in Zinnia, and even a little of the broken Phineas in Paxton, but maybe that's just me projecting WCB into everything I read.
