The Wandering Troll

The Wandering Troll is a cute book that follows the journey of a little troll as he searches for a new home.

Every page is brightly colored and uniquely designed to capture the attention of young readers and keep their attention throughout the rest of the book. The learning potential in this book comes in the vocabulary use and the different habitats and climates that the troll goes through on his search for a home. Though the vocabulary is a bit large for kids to read on their own, if it is explained as the book is read to them, they may or may not be able to grasp it.

The rhymes and words keep the mood light and some sentences are sure to have the kids laughing out loud at the silliness. So overall, I give The Wandering Troll 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it to children under 5 or 6.
