this series is becoming a hot mess. more questions keep coming up and nothing is being resolved. the romance is even worse. yet somehow i feel compelled to finish the series. why do i hate myself

At this point I know I love this series, but the romance with Devlin seriously makes it hard to give 5 stars.
I am still going to read the next one, which I think will be a turning point for them... maybe.
