Light hearted and fun to read, like the author's other series Spells, Swords and Stealth, this particular books is a set of 3 small adventures that are relatively back-to-back.

The audiobook was especially good if you're a fan of foley work.

This was...fine. It was kind of low-stakes and felt a little padded out at times, but it was entertaining in a low-key way. I never really felt gripped however.

Fred's an accountant AND a vampire and is about to discover there's more to the world than tax forms and playing it safe. This one was fun and a fast read.

For fans of Jim Butcher's I think this would be a hit. A silly, funny, very-light read.
