The Unleashing

It took me sooooo long to finish this book. The concept was cool af (I love anything Vikings) and the plot wasn't bad. But the writing style was unbearable to me. I'm truly sorry. No hate to the author. I personally just could not get the flow.

First thing you need to know is to not to go into this one expecting something serious– I did and it took me awhile to adjust to the writing and story. Once I realized who the author was and the story I was in store for, things clicked into place and I really enjoyed this book.

There is action, a cute romance, and ridiculous sometimes over the top humor. We get introduced to a huge cast so remember all the characters can be a chore.

The things is, Shelly Laurenston's writing just entices you to keep reading and reading until there is nothing left. This was a hard book to put down and I absolutely enjoyed it.

This was a fun read and I had a hard time putting it down. The characters were fun and quirky.

Great start to another great series from this author.
