The Unexpected Duchess

This was a fun read!

While the book says the characters are witty and there are even wordplay challenges, honestly, everyone is just sarcastic. Go into this book knowing that. I didn't mind this though because I found the sarcasm to be funny.

There are also many modern day phrases or lingo, so I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is really into historical romance. There are many incorrect wordings and activities as well, I'm sure, but there were a few parts that seemed quite accurate.

This is the Taming of the Shrew, and I enjoyed it. 10 Things I Hate About You is the only other thing based on that play that I've watched/read, but I really enjoy it. One day I'll have to read the actual play :)
