Mary-Margaret O'Reilly is a cleaner at the Sacred Heart church in Battersea. She's always drawn to the statue of Jesus on the cross, and one day gives it a thorough clean. But something strange happens - moments later she's unconscious; a gash in her head. Before she fell Mary-Margaret was convinced that the statue's eyes opened. Word gets out that a miracle occurred and a crowd descends on the church - having a profound effect on the small band of parishioners.
