A Collection of legends and folk tales from Arabia, Persia and India. Originally written in Arabic it is popularly known in English as the Arabian Nights. The stories are narrated by Scheherazade to her husband Shahyar, the king of Persia. Many of the stories and characters are recognizable the world over including Aladdin’s Lamp, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Sinbad the Sailor.
