The book is valuable as a read that can be close to you and you can pick it up whenever you're bored. It serves as a good reminder then and you might stumble across something that you actually need at the moment. Chances of that are less, though, as most of the book is a repetition of things you probably already agree with. If you don't, this book won't change your mind. I suppose that's true of all manifestos.
I happen to agree with a lot that the author said but that didn't make it easier for me to get through the book. I like topics that are presented with reasoning, details, and caveats, and as a manifesto containing 144 headings, it lacked all that. I am not really sure who should read the book either. If you agree with it, why would you bother, and if you don't, this won't change your mind.
