Dialogue and writing is great - but the content is not my cup of tea. DNF as a result. The perpetuation of abuse in the guise of consensual BDSM is fascinating, in the way a train wreck is fascinating. At the end of the day, you just wish people didn't have to go through all this.

Some of the most astounding dialogue and writing that I have ever read. One of the most enthralling reads I have ever read. This book had the capability to drown you but it saves you instead. Unbelievably captivating but ruthlessly real. You thought you knew how it was going to end but that won't stop you from sinking in the depth of its pages.
