The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System

I just didn't vibe with this book. I'm not sure if it's the characters, the way the story is moving, or simply that it's not the right time for me to give this a read, I'm done trying to force myself

Man. The localization is really unfortunate, huh. Shen Yuan is a fun protagonist and it was a quick enough read that I blitzed through it, but it took a while for it to really get its hooks into me. Not bad by any means, but I see a world where the writing could've been so much better so I'm kind of mad at it for that.

well this is going to be a problem

This is definitely my least favorite MXTX novel so far. The concept is interesting, but it took me a bit to get into it. It feels like I've had to keep less track of the individual characters (compared to HOB and Grandmaster) which I'm not really sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Also, apparently my local B&N is unique for having a whole display of Seven Seas books.

first 60% was pretty great then went downhill from there. maybe volume 2 will be better
