first book of 2025 and i feel like i just got stabbed in the heart

4.5/5 - the banter... I was obsessed. Loved the MMC & FMC. I do think she was just like a tiny bit too easily forgiving and the resolution at the end was a little too farfetched to make this perfect. But I loved it!!!!

Hmm. I'm not sure why this wasn't for me, but it wasn't. Emma and Charlie both rubbed me the wrong way and I didn't ever get the feeling that they liked each other.

Emma trying to dive off the high dive while drunk made me SO angry.

And she was a huge asshole to her sister.

Center delivers another solid light romance. That makes it sound frivolous but these are also important books that deliver escapism and hope and fun. Center always throws in some serious issues for balance. On point.
