The Road to Ruin

This is the worst Dortmunder I've read so far. It's not bad, per se, but not as satisfying as the others. The fun part of the premise is to have Dortmunder and crew working as employees on the estate, but that doesn't happen until about 60% in.

I L O V E the Dortmunder series. I don't condone crime in the real world but how can you not be drawn to a character that has such fascinating compadres and find such ingenious ways to get out of the tight situations they end up in.

I've just found a copy to add to my library.
