The Restaurant

Not quite a three star, but nothing makes it bad enough for a two. It's just...dull. There were a lot of areas where tension could have been heightened, but all these ladies seem to go through major life upheavals like they're swimming through a haze of Prozac. Where's the drama? Where's the excitement? It's got all the right elements, the secrets, lies, betrayals, but none of these seem to phase these ladies & since they're not super concerned about it, or invested in it, neither am I as a reader.
