I tried with this book. I seriously tried. But the prose is endless shades of purple and the plot consists solely of fridging a woman so hard it gives her two funerals. Also, a novel that is supposedly about space exploration, cultural memory and cosmic mathematics has no reason to repeat the word “breast” so many times.
