The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise

this was a really great story! happy and sad in all the right places, plenty of lessons on grief and how to deal. coyote is an incredibly wise young girl. this was sort of healing in a way.

Another beautiful book from this wonderful author. I laughed and I cried and I re-evaluated my life once again.

This is the story of Coyote and her father who live on a converted school bus and travel the country. I think I went into it expecting a #vanlife story. I was not prepared for how profoundly sad this story was. I almost sobbed a couple of times, but considering the audience- I know kids love sad stories. I would highly recommend this as a book club read.
I did a hybrid of reading it and listening to it on audio, and the narration was excellent.
Now, if you would excuse me, I'm going to go curl up in a blanket and hug my cat.
