While I didn't “love, love, love” it quite the way I did the first book (this one is more heavy on the romance), it is still a good, solid story. The focus is mainly on Rowena and Brice's hasty marriage and less on the ongoing saga of the Fire Eyes diamonds. I loved the historical feel of the setting and the well-researched Scottish flavor.

Eager indeed for book three!
