It is so juvenile and not much makes sense starting with whytf wouldn't Ari tell her who he is upfront? Also I get he's a “golden retriever” mmc but this ain't it. He's teasing, pranking, saying BFF more than I ever have in my entire life, and sounds more like a 12 year old than a 20-something. Blake is going through shit so her chapters feel so much different from Ari. She's got depth, but then she goes and waxes on about Ari's looks internally for 2 pages forgetting she's supposed to be talking. Like damn girl, enough.

I'm sooooo bummed! I loved Lincoln's book and I was looking forward to a peppy, happy mmc with stalking tendencies, but this went overboard on the mania.

Ari is obsessive and possessive when it comes to Blake. He is so intune to her, and he actually sees her. Blake's heart-wrenching battles with feeling inadequate and trying to live up to impossible standards have led to years of self-harm. Ari is so supportive and uplifting in his persistence to get Blake to see her beauty and self-worth. Ari & Blake are absolutely adorable!

The bromance between Ari and Lincoln is everything! I couldn't get enough of their text banter. They had me laughing and grinning like a fool. Also, Linc and the handcuffs... 🤣

As if everything else wasn't enough, Ari's internal thoughts and pep talks are adorable and hilarious.
