The Priory of the Orange Tree

It was fine. I kept listening, so it wasn't “bad”, but I found my mind wandering and had to repeatedly look up summary recaps for chapters because I couldn't keep the people and storylines straight. It seemed like the author kept adding more and more lore and history just when I thought I'd got things organized. I liked the diversity of characters and strong women, but the story didn't draw me in.
