So, I went into this one with a lot of hesitation. I wasn't a huge fan of the first book in the series and the first book sets Sean up to be an unforgivable asshole– why would I want to forgive him?
Well, I'm glad I did. He is still somewhat of an ass, but he is mostly just blunt. This was also super fun because of Sean's problem. The twist, which I only mention because it is in the full synopsis on Goodreads, is that Sean is horrible in bed. Usually, not the case with our heros, so it was really refreshing reading him learn to be better. It all led to Sean and Lucy having great chemistry. The love seemed a bit fast for me though... like when did this happen and why? But, they work well together and seeing them stick up for each other was sweet.
I'm really glad I gave this book a try... I'm not sure if I'll read the third one yet because THAT synopsis hurts me...
