The Night Before Christmas

I'm happy someone thought it was time for a beautiful new version of The Night Before Christmas. This lovely book is the result.

You know the rhyme, of course, but it will be the pictures that captivate children, with their close-up zoom-lens photo-like quality, and the gentle contemporary details, like Santa in tennis shoes.

These modern illustrations for such a classic poem are so beautiful. With the current day visual of a kerchief and cap, I just love it. The illustrations by Antonio Javier Caparro are beautiful. I read this on a 10” tablet as an ebook and it was great. I'd love a physical copy, but I'd gladly reread on a big tablet in the future.

I do not own this book. We read it during a trial of Kindle Freetime Unlimited.
