The Mythology Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained

That was fascinating! As a mythology lover, I wanted to learn more about diverse cultures and their traditions, since I'm more familiar with Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology. And this book provided exactly that, with myths from areas such as Oceania and Africa! A great read, would recommend for people who are interested in learning more about mythology.

I enjoyed exploring mythologies across the world in the book. My only complaint is that it barely skims the surface of each culture, leaving out some cultures entirely, and yet it is information overload. It almost should've been a series, with each book set in a certain location (Europe, the americas, etc.). I also think maps would've been helpful with each myth, since photos abounded.
