With everyone against her, Mim's journey to find her husband takes her across the country, outback, and ocean, with her two children in tow. Kate Mildenhall creates a scarily probable futuristic dystopian world with many significant parallels to our current society. I highly recommend this book to anyone as it hits all the rights places to make the reader both unsettled and intrigued. Absolutely impossible to put down and had me holding my breath until the very last page.
