The Monster at the End of This Book

This was my ABSOLUTE favorite book when I was little, and I recently found it on one of the Bests lists. I LOVE THIS BOOK! :)

Oh, Grover.

Gripping. Suspenseful. Ultimately encouraging, with a cheeky twist. Unparalleled classic.

A favorite of mine back in the day, and today as well.

Our niece got this book for Christmas. Apparently it was one of Matt's favorites from when he was a kid. It was SO cute and fun. Don't turn the page! There's a monster!!!

Short review: This is actually a review of the iPad version of this book, which is not listed on Goodreads. I remember it from my own childhood (it was first published in 1971, 2 years before I was born.) When I saw it on sale in iTunes, I bought it out of nostalgia, but it is one of the best book app adaptations that I have seen. Many books are decent, but either have lost the idea of the original book, or are just a book in digital form without much interaction. This is a near perfect marriage.
