Slightly better than average chick lit. The relationship between the heroine and her best friend was more interesting to me than the romance. And I think that the titular “matchmaking” was dangerously close to gaslighting, which made it less than charming. However, I liked the book enough that I may seek out the author's debut novel and keep an eye out for future releases.
