The Mark of the Dragonfly

Perfect for children - ages 9-12 I'd say is the range.

I've reread this book so many times in the past few years- it just stuck with me so much.

The world was interesting, but it didn't go into a lot of detail that I feel like it could have. The ending was open, and left without answering a few things. However there is another book, just by different characters, so maybe it will explain.

The characters were funny, and each were memorable with different personalities. Gee and Trimble were my top two favorites. And Anna was honestly like the child after my own heart. Piper reminded me of Katniss, especially with her relationship with Anna and her life before.

I love the steampunk feel in the story, and the writing style and pace that comes with it. 5 stars!

Reading this book gave me a heavy sense of deja vu which means I have either read the book before and don't remember or it was very similar to something else I had read. Either way, not one of my favorites.
